Fugitive in Custody Following Afternoon Chase, Lockdowns

Schools in the southwest area of the county held students after school as authorities searched for Zachary Ryan Lord.

DOUGLAS, GA — Deputies are warning residents not to approach an wanted man considered armed and dangerous as a manhunt continues in Douglas County.

Zachary Ryan Lord, 22 was last seen in the area of Highway 5, Downs Road and Sweetwater Bluffs.

He is wanted on a probation violation and felony charges of aggravated assault on a police officer, according to Douglas County Sheriff's Office, and should be considered armed and dangerous.
