Qualifying for Douglasville City Elections Begins Monday

The 2015 General Election for the City of Douglasville, Georgia will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. The offices to be elected are Mayor, Councilmember Ward 2 Post 2, Councilmember Ward 4, and Councilmember Ward 5.

Residents desiring to qualify as candidates in this election may do so from Monday, August 31, 2015 through and including Friday, September 4, 2015 from 8:30 am until 12:00 noon and from 1:00 pm until 4:30 pm each day in the office of the City Clerk in City Hall located at 6695 Church Street.

Each person desiring to qualify must submit a Notice of Candidacy and Affidavit for the position sought and pay the appropriate qualifying fee for the position, which are $1,188.00 for the office of Mayor and $387.00 for the office of Councilmember.
