High winds continue to threaten the area through Friday. Winds will be between 15 to 25 mph, with gusts reaching nearly 30 mph. A wind advisory is in effect until 10 p.m.
Motorists should be very cautious, according to the National Weather Service. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, particularly for SUVs, vans and pick-up trucks.

"Gusty winds may down tree branches and a few trees," according to weather service statement. "Unsecured outdoor objects may be blown around."

The forecast for the rest of the weekend:
Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 51. Northwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 79. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Saturday Night: Clear, with a low around 59. West wind 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 85. West wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 61.
Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 84.
There is a chance for thunderstorms to return early next week.
