3 Cars Fatally Hit 12-Year-Old Not Using Crosswalk
A 12-year-old Duluth boy was killed Tuesday night after being hit by three cars.

DULUTH, GA – A 12-year-old Duluth boy was killed Tuesday night crossing Pleasant Hill Road but not using the crosswalk, according to the Gwinnett County Police Department.
Gianni Salazar was struck by three vehicles and later died at the hospital.
Shortly after 7 p.m., officers assigned to the Central Precinct were dispatched to a pedestrian accident on Pleasant Hill Road near Woodberry Drive. Once the officers arrived, they found Salazar with serious injuries, who was transported to a local hospital.

The drivers of all three vehicles remained at the scene. The drivers of these vehicles will not face criminal charges, police reported.
Death notification was made to the boy’s parents.
