Body Found In Vehicle Trunk In Duluth

DULUTH, GA — A person was found dead in a vehicle trunk Tuesday night in the 3500 block of Gwinnett Place Drive, police said Wednesday.

Gwinnett County Police said officers responded around 10:45 p.m. to a suspicious activity call. A 911 caller had told dispatch he believed a dead body was inside of the vehicle.

Homicide detectives, crime scene investigators and the Medical Examiner’s Office were called to the scene. Police have not identified the body or said what led to the person's death.
