Pedestrian Injured After Being Hit By Car In Duluth
Traffic was being diverted Monday morning from Pleasant Hill Road to Buford Highway due to the accident.
DULUTH, GA — A pedestrian was injured Monday morning after being hit by a vehicle near Pleasant Hill Road at Summit Ridge Parkway, Duluth Police said shortly before 10 a.m. on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Police closed the westbound lanes of Pleasant Hill following the serious crash and were diverting traffic onto Buford Highway. It was unknown as of 10:30 a.m. if the lanes remained closed.
The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, police said.
