Duluth Retailer Sells $800K Lottery Ticket

A lucky winner of the jackpot, which is well over $800,000, purchased their ticket in Duluth.

DULUTH, GA — A Duluth retailer sold a jackpot ticket for the Aug. 16 Fantasy 5 drawing, according to the Georgia Lottery Corporation's website. The lucky winner claimed their prize of $817,991 on Monday.

The QuikTrip at 3844 Satellite Blvd. was the establishment that sold the lucky ticket, with the winning numbers: 03-17-18-21-24.

Georgia residents can purchase lottery tickets online, download the Georgia Lottery app or, naturally, at a Georgia retailer.

According to the Georgia Lottery Corporation:

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $21 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.8 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.6 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
