Gwinnett Gas Leak Secured, Intersection Reopened
An intersection has reopened after a gas leak closed a Gwinnett County intersection earlier Tuesday.
DULUTH, GA — Atlanta Gas and Light has secured the leak, the roadway has been reopened, and firefighters have returned to service.
Firefighters are currently on the scene of a gas leak on the 2100 block of Merchants Way, NW in unincorporated Duluth. A crew struck a 1-inch main gas line in the middle of the roadway.
The Fire Department would like to encourage motorist to use alternate routes and avoid the intersection of Satellite Boulevard and Merchants Way.
