Formed late in 2017 when guitar player, Kai Vaughn and singer/songwriter “Shreeps” started getting together to work on their jazz guitar chops. HL&R is an Atlanta based, nine piece group of seasoned musicians showcasing and celebrating the timeless music of Steely Dan with a mission to capture the sound, feel & groove of the original recordings.
Their name is taken from the lyrics of the song; “Throw Back The Little Ones” off the album, Katy Lied.

The Sundogs, formed in the 2000s by brothers Will and Lee Haraway, grew up on the music of Tom Petty. They harmonized on Full Moon Fever in Lee's bedroom after lights out, with Lee rocking the chords on an electric blue Memphis guitar that he got for his Confirmation.
Years later, as accomplished rockers in Atlanta, Ga, there was always a Tom Petty cover in The Sundogs' sets and always a mention in the pre-show articles of Tom as an influence. So it was a natural that in 2011, they launched "The Sundogs Present: The Tom Petty Show", playing every song an audience could possibly want to hear-- all the hits, a rotation of the b-sides, played and sung with reckless abandon, passion and fire for as long as the crowds wanted to cheer and sing along. Sometimes they have horns. They usually have a special guest or two. They are ALWAYS great.
