January Offers Variety at New Dawn Theater

New Dawn Theater Company in Duluth is starting the New Year off with a “Ladies of Mixed Nuts” comedy show, “An Evening with Mark Twain,” and a “New Directors Showcase.”

Sue Ryerson and Mia Jackson will crack the audience up with their "Ladies of Mixed Nuts Comedy" Friday, Jan. 11, at 8 p.m. Jessica Carter of Radio Free Nasahville will be joining the ladies. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15.

Spend "An Evening with Mark Twain" featuring Kurt Sutton portraying the author and humorist at 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $8-$10.

Four new directors will present four short one-act plays in New Dawn’s  inaugural "New Directors Showcase" Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 18-20. Showtimes are 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Doors open 30 minutes before showtime. Tickets are $10-$15.
