Man Fatally Shoots Ex-Wife, Then Kills Self: Police
An ex-husband burst into a Gwinnett business Monday, fatally shot his ex-wife twice and then turned the gun on himself, police say.

DULUTH, GA — An ex-husband burst into a Gwinnett hair salon Monday morning, fatally shot his ex-wife twice and then shot himself, according to the Duluth Police Department.
The ex-wife was identified as Myyoung Lee, 48; and the shooter was identified as Namyoon Cha, 62.
At 9:52 a.m., the Duluth Police Department received a 911 call about a person shot at 2605 Pleasant Hill Road, Suite 200, the Edge Total Hair salon. When the first officer arrived, a woman was located laying in the parking lot suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Lifesaving efforts were initiated by the officer, according to police. When secondary officers arrived, it was determined that the shooter was still inside the business suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Paramedics arrived on-scene once it was secured and transported the man to the hospital. The woman outside died.

Lee and Cha were recently been divorced. Police determined that Cha opened fire on his ex-wife as she tried to flee from the front door of the hair salon that she owned and operated. Cha shot his ex-wife a total of two times before running back inside and shooting himself, according to police. Cha later died at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville.
