Talent Search Winners Announced

Twenty-seven contestants performed for an audience of 150 Sunday (Sept. 26) in the Gwinnett’s Most Talented competition at the Red Clay Theatre in Duluth.

One winner from each age group was declared the "Judges Choice."  And one additional winner was selected by the audience based on $1 per vote and declared the "People's Choice."

The winners of the talent search were:

• Ages 6-11 – Kerry Eiberger
• Ages 12-16 – Sean VanMeter
• Ages 12-16 – 1^st Runner-up – Annabel Rushing and Jennifer & Eunice Lazau, Tie
• Ages 17+ – Clark King
• People’s Choice – Ella Oliver

Winners earned the title of “Gwinnett’s Most Talented,” a trophy, a prize package and the opportunity to perform at high-profile events.

Prizes were sponsored by the Atlanta Workshop Players, Gwinnett School of Music, Eddie Owen Presents, and Lifestyle Photography.

The competition was judged by three music industry professionals: David Craver, a singer/songwriter, president of Open Mic Entertainment, and founder of the A&R Network; Lynn Stalling, an actress, producer, director, casting consultant and talent manager in television and film, as well as executive director of the Atlanta Workshop Players; and Kimberly James, a booking agent, tour manager, personal manager, and owner of CBM Records and CBM Management Agency.

Pop artist Norwood served as master of ceremonies and was a special guest performer.
