Two Duluth High Girls Place at State Track Meet
Jazmyn Johnson was third in both the Long Jump and High Jump. Demichia Higgins placed fourth in the 100-meter Hurdles.

Two members of the Duluth High School Wildcats Girls Track Team finished the season by placing at the state meet this past weekend in Albany.
Jazmyn Johnson waited until her final attempt to jump a career best of 17'4" in
the Long Jump. She placed third overall in the state, but she wasn't
finished yet.
Jazmyn came back shortly to compete in the High Jump. She placed third again in this event with a jump of 5'4.”

Her teammate Demichia Higgins ran a career best of 14.81 to qualify in the 100-meter Hurdles for finals. She ran a 14.90 in the finals for fourth best in the state.
