Two Duluth City Council Posts Have Challengers

Qualifying ends Wednesday for the November ballot.

Two of three Duluth City Council posts will have multiple challengers on the November ballot.

With one day left in qualifying, two challengers have qualified for Post 1 (currently held by Marsha Anderson Bomar) and for Post 2 (currently held by Jim Dugan).

For Post 1, David Cossette and Chaohan Tseng have qualified. For Post 2, Kirkland Carden and Seth David Grey have qualified. Bomar and Dugan also have qualified for re-election, as has Post 3 incumbent Billy Jones, according to the city clerk's office.

The election is set for Nov. 5.
