Video: Man Leads Police On Dangerous Chase, Flees On Foot
A man who led Duluth Police on an 85 MPH car chase on Buford Highway is still at large after fleeing on foot and eluding K-9s.
DULUTH, GA — The Duluth Police Department is requesting the public's help in locating a man who was caught on Dash Cam Video fleeing from police after a traffic stop last week.
Jesus Montgomery, led officers on a high-speed chase on Buford Highway, endangering the public and ending in a residential area, after about four miles, where he fled on foot, according to police. Police say speeds reached as high as 85 MPH.
K-9 officers were employed but could not find him. Police said they found his cell phone in the car and used that to identify him. They also found drugs and drug paraphernalia.
