- Seven former investigators are suing the Gwinnett Medical Examiner for ignoring federal employer laws. A report claimed that investigators have been racking up 100-hour workweeks after being called in after-hours to work a death scene, while only being paid for a 40-hour week. Other reports of a toxic work environment have come to the surface, as the lawsuit is set to play out in the coming months. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
- Georgia Gwinnett College has announced four brand new, entertainment-related nexus degrees for the Fall '22 semester. The school will soon be offering professional editing in film/television, motion picture set lighting, production for film and television, and production design in an attempt to prepare students for a career in the entertainment industry.
