Atlanta Track Classic 2013 Results - Jackson High Girls Team Places 2nd Overall

The finals of the 2013 Atlanta Track Classic were held on April 1, 2013, and girls of Jackson High School showed why they are one of the best in the city this year.  According to reporting by TalkUp APS, "the Atlanta Track Classic is a citywide track meet bringing together the best track athletes throughout Atlanta Public Schools." 

The Women's Team Trophy was reserved for Grady High School this year, but they were closely followed by Maynard Jackson High and Douglass High. The Men's Team Trophy went to Mays High School, who was followed by Carver High and Grady High.

Standout performances by athletes who attend Maynard Jackson High School include:

• Sabreea Roberson of Jackson High placed 3rd in the 100m dash
• Giselle Webb of Jackson High won the 400m dash AND placed 2nd in the 200m dash
• Kayla Jordan of Jackson High place 2nd in the 400m dash
• Briana Tucker won the Women's Pole Vault
