Back to School at Drew Charter

EAST LAKE — Drew Charter School opened its doors for the first day back to school Tuesday, on July 30.

After more than a decade of continued success, Drew welcomed its first-ever 9th grade class.

Drew Charter is currently undergoing an expansion to include a Senior Academy. Construction is slated to be completed for the 2014-2015 school year.

This school year, middle and high schools students will be temporarily located offsite. The students are being graciously hosted by the students, staff and community of Kennedy Middle School.

Pre-K through 5th grade students will remain at the original Drew campus.

The Drew community is looking forward to another great school year.
