"Beer Run" turns into Burglar Bust
Two burglary suspects had their SUV filled with beers and sodas.

REYNOLDSTOWN β Just because the name says "Chop Shop," doesn't mean it's meant to be taken literally.
But Atlanta policeΒ arrested a pair of suspected beer and soda thieves early Aug 1, after spotting their sports utility vehicle parked outside theΒ Chop Shop Convenience Store atΒ at 809 Memorial Dr. SE.
Since it was 4:35 a.m. and the driver of the 1996 Chevrolet Blazer took off after seeing the police cruiser, officers decided to investigate.
According to the report, both menΒ gave conflicting stories about why they were there.
As the Blazer was "filled to the roof with beer, soda and other consumables," officers decided to investigate further.
They found the front door of the Chop Shop had been pried open and it just so happened the two men, dressed head to heel in black, had a pry bar in their vehicle.
A Chop Shop representative came to the store and identified the items as goods that belonged to the store.
Sirdarion Morrison, 27, and Aaron Norwood, 32, were subsequently arrested and charged with burglary.
