GRANT PARK — Summer is upon us and that means a lot of people from all over the region will be visiting our beautiful and shady grounds. We welcome each and every person to enjoy Atlanta's most historic park, but this also means a lot of wear and tear on our lovely greenspace.
It's amazing what a lot of volunteers and several hours of hard work can do to transform an area. We hope you noticed the new mulch path by the pool, the freshly painted tables and benches and the lovingly weeded flower bed in the Children's Playground, among many other beautification projects. In case you missed it, click here to see photos of the work day. Thank you, Deloitte volunteers, for the difference you've made in the park!
We hope their hard work inspires you to help the Conservancy on a work day, or even to just pick up trash as you're walking through the park. Grant Park is, after all, the People's Park! Let's show everyone what that means and we'll keep working hard to keep it clean and beautiful for everyone who visits.
