Several McNair Students Treated After Being Pepper-Sprayed At School
DeKalb school officials said the pepper spray was an attempt to regain control after an altercation.
EAST ATLANTA, GA β A physical altercation led to several students being sprayed with oleoresin capsicum Thursday, DeKalb County school officials said.
Officials said the oleoresin capsicum, or pepper spray, was used to regain control. The students were treated at the school, and there were no serious injuries, school officials said.
"DCSD Police Officers and school administrators continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident," school officials said in a statement.
