National Night Out, Shark Week, Watermelons and More

MON - AUG 5:

• Shark Week at the Georgia Aquarium. Have shark questions you would like to be answered from the Georgia Aquarium's own experts? Just comment with hashtag #SharkChat throughout the week on Twitter — @GeorgiaAquarium — and you could be featured on its fan page.
• Fight poverty with CARE. Every month, 400,000 children die from hunger, malnutrition and preventable diseases. So through the end of the month, your gift to feed hungry children and fight poverty will be matched, dollar for dollar. TUES - AUG 6:

• Neighborhood Planning Unit-M, which includes Old Fourth Ward, Castleberry Hill and Downtown is hosting National Night Out at Selena Sloan Butler Park from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

WED - AUG 7:

• First day of school, Atlanta Public Schools.

SAT - AUG 10:

• Candler Park's Peace, Love and Watermelon. This event is essentially pre- movie night festivities. From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. (or while supplies last) we are offering FREE ICE COLD WATERMELON!
