Atlanta police say they have a suspect in custody they believe killed 34-year-old Leon Carr in the 500 block of Boulevard on Oct. 5.
Brandon Dean, 25, is charged with murder and is in the Fulton County Jail.
Police obtained an arrest warrant on Oct. 16 for Dean in connection with the shooting death. The U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force found and arrested him Oct. 22.
