Police Seek Public's Aid in Downtown ATM Smash and Grab

Atlanta police investigators are asking for assistance in identifying the suspects in the attached video an photosΒ 

DOWNTOWN β€”Β On July 9,Β 2013 officers responded to an ATM theft at 209 Edgewood Ave. in Southeast Atlanta.Β  Officers found a white minivan that had been driven into the main doors of the business.

It was determined that an ATM had been taken from inside the business and the van was found to be stolen. Surveillance video shows the minivan being driven into the building and approximately five suspects dragging the ATM out and placing it into a red pickup truck.Β

The truck appears to be a 2003 to 2006 red Chevrolet SS extended cab pickup.

Investigators are attempting to identify the suspects in the video as well as the red pickup truck. These ATMs have not been recovered and investigators are also asking for information on their current whereabouts.Β

Anyone with information on either of these incidents is asked to call Crime Stoppers. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
