Reynoldstown Man is Candidate for Leukemia & Lymphoma Societyβs Man of the Year
Brandon Hayes and his team, "Keep Kickin," is raising money in a campaign to advance the LLS' mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Brandon Hayes of Atlantaβs historic Reynoldstown neighborhood has been named as a candidate for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Societyβs Man & Woman of the Year campaign.
Brandon joins other community leaders to see who can raise the most money for the organization within a 10-week time period beginning March 28th. Money raised during the campaign will advance the LLS' mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

He is vice president and a private CFO at oXYGen Financial, a money management and advisory firm. He and his team βKeep Kickin,β are participating in this yearβs campaign in honor of his best friend who went through a battle with non-hodgkinβs lymphoma.
"I am thankful for my good health and passionate about making a difference for those fighting blood cancers," Brandon said. "Team 'Keep Kickin' looks forward to showing people that just like the beautiful game of soccer, you must 'Keep Kickin' to fight cancer."

Every dollar each candidate raises counts as one vote. The candidates with the most votes will be awarded the titles "2013 Man & Woman of the Year," respectively. The event, in its fifth year in Georgia, hopes to raise $650,000.

More than 500 people are expected to attend the Grand Finale Celebration at the Loews Atlanta Hotel on June 8th.
