Suspect Sought in Lowes Store Robbery

Editor's note: The Atlanta Police Department issued the following alert:

EDGEWOOD — Atlanta Police Commercial Robbery Investigators have released surveillance video of a robbery at the Lowes at 1280 Caroline St.

On June 17, a male entered the store and began to purchase an item. As the clerk rang up the purchase, the male demanded all the money in the register and threatened to shoot the employee.

The suspect did not display a weapon and no one was injured during the robbery.

Investigators are asking for assistance in identifying the suspect from the surveillance video. Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 404.577.8477.
