WEEKEND PLANNER: Candler Park's Fall Fest; Wine Strolls Through Inman Park and Kirkwood and More

Here's what's on tap this weekend in and around East Atlanta Patch:
FRI - Sept. 27:
- Kirkwood Wine Stroll: 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Kirkwood Station, 1963 Hosea L. Williams Dr. NE. 404.371.1115.
- The Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church's Music and Collaborative Arts Workshop: This three-day event begins with workshops and a choir rehearsal at 7 p.m. (and Saturday, Sept. 28, at 9 a.m.) through 12 p.m. On Sunday, Sept. 29, at 4 p.m. the Workshop Choir will present a concert at the church located at 1879 Glenwood Ave.
- Candler Park Fall Fest & Tour of Homes: Live bands, 150+ artist booths, a kids area, and a 5K run. From 12 p.m. to p.m. (and Sunday, Sept. 29, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.) McLendon Ave and Candler Park Drive.
- BeltLine Wine Stroll: The Friends of Inman Park organization is hosting a wine stroll on the Atlanta BeltLine's Eastside Trail as a fundraiser for improvement projects at Springvale Park. Sixteen restaurants, art spaces and other businesses will serve wine and appetizers. The event is rain or shine from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $40 each to purchase.
- No Bare Soles Shoe Distribution: Caring For Others will host a No Bare Soles Shoe Distribution on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at 3537 Browns Mill Rd. SE. Caring For Others is hosting a massive distribution of brand new shoes including sneakers, sandals, flip flops and slip-ons for women, girls and babies only.
