Woman Charged After Stabbing 2 Relatives: Atlanta Police

An officer used a stun gun on the woman after she refused to drop a knife, police said.

EAST ATLANTA, GA β€” A woman is in jail after Atlanta Police said she stabbed two relatives around 2 p.m. Tuesday in the 2300 block of Glenwood Avenue.

Police said the victims had been stabbed in their necks, and when officers arrived, they found a woman in a nearby parking lot holding a knife. They gave the woman commands to drop the knife, but police said the woman refused to do so.

An officer used a stun gun on the woman and she was taken into custody, police said.

Both victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police charged Lanisha Davis on suspicion of aggravated assault and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony.
