Woman Grabbed, Man Shot in Chest

Atlanta police are investigating an incident in which a woman was grabbed and a man was shot during what was initially called in as a pedestrian robbery, according to this report from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Police are looking for three to five suspects who waited outside a home on Whitefoord Avenue on Friday night and grabbed a female passersby in an attempt to enter the home, the report states.

Next, they fired rounds into the home, shooting a man in the chest. The man, who was transported to an unnamed hospital, has been upgraded to stable condition from critical condition.

No suspects are in custody.
