6th District Race: Early Voting Began Tuesday
Early voting began Tuesday in Georgia's 6th Congressional District.
EAST COBB, GA -- Early voting in Georgia's 6th Congressional District began Tuesday. The election between Democrat Jon Ossoff and Republican Karen Handel has attracted significant national attention, with many seeing it as a barometer of President Donald Trump's popularity on the local level. It is also the most expensive House election in the nation's history, with the Democratic and Republican parties throwing unprecedented sums of money in the race.
The House of Representatives seat was held by U.S. Rep. Tom Price before he vacated the position to become U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services.
