Anti-Bullying Seminar at Mt. Zion UMC
The Nov. 6 meeting will feature Jeff Dess of Cobb County School District's Prevention Intervention Center.
The youth ministry at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church is sponsoring an anti-bullying seminar in early November.
The meeting begins at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6. The church located at 1770 Johnson Ferry Road.
The guest speaker is Jeff Dess of Cobb County School District's Prevention Intervention Center, who will explain how to identify, prevent and respond to bullying, and the reasons this behavior persists.
He also will discuss Georgia's anti-bullying statute in a Q & A period at the end of the program.
