Arrest Made in Kroger Armed Robbery

Cobb County police have arrested the man they say robbed an East Cobb Kroger at gunpoint on Tuesday morning.

Joel Buchanan Hustad of Woodstock allegedly entered the Kroger at 2100 Roswell Road at approximately 4:50 a.m. Tuesday posing as a customer and approached an employee at the self-checkout lines. Hustad then allegedly pulled a gun on the employee and demanded money before fleeing.

Hustad has been charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and is being held without bond at the Cobb County jail, police said Wednesday.
