  3. Trixie the dog made a new friend as firefighter Andrews and the fire department rescued the pup earlier this week after falling down a Cobb County storm drain. Trixie and her owner made a pit stop in an unfamiliar area before the dog explored and fell nearly 12 feet down the drain. Police and firefighters were alerted and launched the mission to rescue the dog, using an air monitoring device and rope system to lower Andrews into the drain system.
