Camps Kitchen & Bar Opening Soon in East Cobb (UPDATED)

EAST COBB, GA -- A new restaurant serving traditional fare is opening its doors soon in Marietta.

Camps Kitchen and Bar initially was slated to open this week in East Cobb. The restaurant now says its doors will open closer to the end of February.

The eatery, which will take over in the Paper Mill Grill's old spot at 255 Village Parkway #310, is highly anticipated in the area.

The eatery has posted several updates on Facebook recently, saying that "We have big shoes to fill" and "Get excited East Cobb...We are coming."

In a comment on Facebook, the restaurant says that it has had to push back its debut. "Unfortunately, our timeline has changed since the publication of that article. We're now aiming to open closer to the end of February."

The eatery will feature “an eclectic American menu with an emphasis on comfort pub grub,” the owner tells the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
