🌱 Cobb County Schools Up For Theater Awards + New Car Wash Approved

Hello, everybody! I'm here with your Wednesday edition of the East Cobb Daily, full of everything you need to know about what's happening in town.

Here are the top three stories today in East Cobb:

1. The ArtsBridge Foundation has announced the high schools that will participate in the 15th Annual Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards (GHSMTA). The event will be held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center in April 2023. Cobb County has four schools that will be competing for the awards for the 2022-23 school year. 2. The local real estate scene is always shifting. This list can help by showing you some of the newest houses to hit the market in the East Cobb area. 3. A car wash and gas station convenience store is scheduled to begin construction at the corner of Shallowford Road and Trickum Road. The project has struggled through several months and delays, but the Cobb Board of Commissioners has finally approved the rezoning request with a 4-0 vote. Residents have been pushing back against the store, concerned that it will negatively affect traffic in the area. (East Cobb News)
