Emergency System Test Planned at KSU Marietta Campus
Sirens and verbal test messages will blare from Kennesaw State's Marietta campus early Wednesday afternoon.

Staff Report
Please be advised that at noon on Wednesday, 6 January 2016 there will be at least two tests of the Emergency Audio Warning System on Kennesaw State University’s Marietta Campus.
The first test will begin at precisely 12:00 noon and will involve the routine exercise of the Cobb County severe weather warning siren.
The second test will immediately follow the first and consist of a number of VERBAL TEST MESSAGES over the Hyperspike loudspeaker system temporarily deployed on the roofs of the Engineering Technology Center (Bldg Q) and Norton Hall (Bldg R2). This test is being conducted to ensure comprehensive audio warning of the campus by eliminating some of the “dead zones” detected during the 5 August 2015 field trials.
All testing should conclude on or about 12:30 pm.
