Ex-Walton Star Eligible at Georgia State
Ryan Harrow will have one season to play after transferring from Kentucky.

Several months after leaving the University of Kentucky, former Walton High School basketball standout Ryan Harrow learned Wednesday he will be able to compete at Georgia State University this coming season.Â
The National Collegiate Athletic Association granted Harrow immediate eligibilty, waiving its normal policy that requires athletes to sit out a year after transferring.Â
Harrow, who started his college career at North Carolina State, left Kentucky after just one season to be closer to his father, who suffered from a stroke.Â
Once a top college prospect out of East Cobb, Harrow will have one season remaining. He averaged nearly 10 points a game as an occasional starter at point guard for Kentucky.Â
