Friends for the East Cobb Park Seeks Volunteers
The citizens' group is asking for assistance in a number of areas with the holiday season approaching.
The citizen volunteer organization serving East Cobb Park is seeking additional volunteers and sponsorships to help with a number of upcoming events, including the holidays.
The Friends for the East Cobb Park sent out a notice Monday requesting volunteers to help with special events, sponsorships, marketing, membership recruitment and park development.
Those interested should contact Sharon Mason, presidents of the Friends group, at president@eastcobbpark.org.
The organization also has a Facebook page with additional information and updates.
The group's final "Sunday Funday" event of the fall -- with a family-style picnic and musical entertainment -- takes place this Sunday from 4-7 p.m.
