  1. For the upcoming Holy Week, religious leaders are holding an interfaith discussion to foster unity. On Monday, local Jewish and Christian leaders will hold an interfaith service at the Catholic Church of St. Ann to mark both Passover and Easter weekend. The leaders hope this special service will forge deeper connections within the community and give strangers "an opportunity to share in the symbolic act of rejecting hatred." (East Cobb News)
  2. Restaurants were announced for the 2023 Taste of East Cobb Lineup. Among them include familiar favorites, including Alumni Cookie Dough, Drift/Seed, Camps, McCray’s Tavern, and Smallcakes. The event is about six weeks away and will feature 22 new and returning vendors. (East Cobb News)
  3. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was nearby this week at a book signing in Smyrna. Gov. DeSantis appeared at Adventure Outdoors gun shop earlier this week to promote his book. The visit was part of a nationwide tour and fueled speculations that he will run for the GOP party's presidential nomination. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
