Hundreds Lose Power in East Cobb
Georgia Power crews are working to repair damage and restore service to the affected customers.
Nearly 300 East Cobb residents are without power Monday morning after storms caused several power poles to snap.
Georgia Power’s outage map shows 297 residents in an area bounded by Lower Roswell Road, Indian Hills Trail, Pinehurst Lane, and Indian Hills Drive are without service as of 11:09 a.m. Monday. Traffic on Lower Roswell Road slows after Shallowford Road but opens up again after Indian Hills Parkway.
WSB-TV has learned that crews expect repairs will take the majority of Monday to complete.
