Here are the top three stories in East Cobb today:
- The Cobb County School District will be hosting a job fair for support positions on Tuesday, Dec. 6. The fair will be held at Cobb Energy Centre on Galleria Parkway from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The district is trying to fill bus driver, nutrition, substitute teacher, and custodian positions. - East Cobb's United Military Care will be hosting its sixth annual free picnic today at East Cobb Park. The event is free for veterans and is meant as a way to show appreciation for their sacrifice. - Cobb County election staffers will be collecting absentee ballots at various library branches throughout the county on Monday, Nov. 7. Absentee ballots can still be returned to the Main Election Office on Roswell Street on Tuesday, Nov. 8 before 7:00 p.m. The collection will be from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Click the link for a list of participating library branches.
