Marietta Campmeeting Winding Down
The final service will be held Sunday morning in conjunction with East Cobb United Methodist Church.
Only three days remain for the 2013 Marietta Campmeeting, located across from East Cobb United Methodist Church.Â
The revival event, which dates back to 1837, will have services at 11 and 7:30 p.m. today, and the public is invited to attend.Â
On Saturday, services will take place at 9 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., the latter featuring the Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church Kingsmen.Â
On Sunday, the Campmeeting will close with an 11 a.m. worship service lead by East Cobb UMC Pastor Brian Germano and the church's chancel choir, performing with the Campmeeting's tentholder choir.Â
The Marietta Campground is located at 2301 Roswell Road, just east of the intersection of Sewell Mill Road.
