  1. East Cobb Park had a lot of traffic Thursday morning with temperatures in the mid-70s, where children, parents, babysitters, came out to enjoy the warm weather for a February morning. On Wednesday, Atlanta broke an all-time temperature weather dating back to 1996 with the temperature reaching a high 81 degrees in February, the 1996 high was 80. All throughout the county. Weather has been warm as Marietta had a high of 78 degrees on Thursday, forecaster Carmen Hernandez a ridge of high pressure over areas and that we haven't had a front lately is why the air has been thick and warm.   2. Today the Janice Overbeck Real Estate Team's nonprofit leg will be holding its annual Texas Hold'em fundraiser to raise money and benefit the Emory ALS Center. The event will be taking place at the agency's office at 2249 Roswell Road at 6 p.m., and the top three winners will receive prize packages, a silent auction will be held, a raffle, and food and drinks will be served. This year's celebrity guest will include former Atlanta Falcon Terance Mathis and a few of his colleagues including Jerome Bettis, Chuck Smith, Jessie Tuggle, and Bob Whitfield. The suggested donation is $100 per person but any amount is accepted and registration can be completed by clicking here, and all proceeds will be distributed by JO Gives, the Overbeck nonprofit that has raised more than $250,000 for ALS research.   3. Cobb police have arrested a school bus driver who was said to have walked into an East Cobb home searching for a girl who rides a bus he drives to Powers Ferry Elementary School. Gogineni Rayudu entered the condominium unit on Ashborough Circle asking to see the girl as he closed the door behind him, according to the warrant. Rayudu fled the residence upon being asked by the girls mother why he was there, the Cobb school district was on winter break at the time so there was no reasonable explanation as to why he was there. Rayudu was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon and charged with a felony account of burglary and a misdemeanor account of loiter prowl. He is being held in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center with a bond of $22,220. (East Cobb News)
