What's After Nathan's/Bruster's?

The hot dog and ice cream shops closed on Lower Roswell near Johnson Ferry in late June.

East Cobbers stopping by for hot dogs or ice cream at the Shops of Lower Roswell Shopping Center have been in for a surprise the last couple weeks.

That's because Nathan's and Bruster's have closed.

On June 26, the management of the side-by-side stores issued the following note on its Facebook page:

To Our Great and Loyal Customers,

Unfortunately, we regret to inform you that this Bruster's location is now closed for business.

We sincerely would like think everyone for being such great customers over the years.

Although this is the end of Bruster's at the Lower Roswell location, we are looking to open one somewhere in Sandy Springs sometime next year. Keep an eye on this page for updates on a new location. We cannot wait to serve you ice cream once again in the future.

Thank you,

Bruster's Lower Roswell

There are two other Bruster's locations in East Cobb, on Trickum Road at Shallowford Road, and at 2044 Lower Roswell Road, across from the East Marietta Library.

Our question for customers in the Johnson Ferry area is this:

What would you like to see replace Nathan's and Bruster's? Let us know in the comments.
