Woman Robs Auto Parts Store at Gunpoint: Police

Cobb County police say a woman held up a Pep Boys in Marietta on Tuesday night and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

MARIETTA, GA -- Cobb County police are looking for the woman they say robbed a Marietta auto parts store at gunpoint Tuesday night.

The woman allegedly walked into the Pep Boys at 3829 Austell Road just after 8:30 p.m. and brandished a firearm while she demanded money from the store manager, police said Wednesday. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, she fled the store on foot in a northerly direction.

Investigators say the suspect is a black female who stands between 5’11”-6’00” tall. She was wearing all black clothing, to include a black hoodie with white design, blue latex gloves and a black ski mask. She was armed with a handgun.
