GAINESVILLE, GA — A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to a missing Georgia girl's location, the Hall County Sheriff's Office said.

Authorities said 12-year-old Maria Gomez-Perez has been missing since May 29, when she disappeared from her Westside Drive home. Her father reported her missing the next day.

The reward is being offered from an anonymous resident, authorities said.

“We hope this reward money prompts someone who knows something about Maria’s whereabouts to come forward,” Hall County Sheriff Gerald Couch said in a news release. “Our investigators and investigative partners are following every lead they get, but so far, none of those leads have led us to Maria. The concerned citizens providing this reward want what we want – for Maria to return home safe.”

A be on the lookout was issued Thursday for Gomez-Perez, who is considered to be endangered.
