Teen Injured, Vehicle Damaged In 2 Targeted Drive-By Hall Shootings
Authorities say the two shootings in Gainesville were not random.
GAINESVILLE — A 15-year-old boy was injured while a vehicle was damaged in two related targeted drive-by shootings Saturday morning, the Hall County Sheriff's Office said Monday.
Authorities were first called around 2:30 a.m. to a Shallowford Road home, where they found the teen boy with a gunshot wound to the arm, the sheriff's office said. The teen's status is unknown.
Then, authorities responded around 3 a.m. to the 1700 block of Crow Drive, where they found a vehicle damaged from a shooting, the sheriff's office said.

Three witnesses were detained for several hours of questioning but were released without being charged Saturday, the sheriff's office said.
Authorities said the two shootings were not random. Additional witnesses were being questioned, and electronic devices found at the scene were processed, the sheriff's office said.
