(Video) Georgia Gwinnett College Does the 'Harlem Shake'

The college in Lawrenceville, Ga., got in on the internet craze and shot their own version of the viral video.

An army in Norway has done it. A television news crew in Louisiana has done it. And now a college in Lawrenceville has done it—filmed a version of the viral video the “Harlem Shake.”

Dozens of Georgia Gwinnett College students and staff members came the quad for the filming. Many of them dressed in crazy costumes like a Mexican wrestler, Harry Potter and even one student wearing a couple of boxes as his outfit.

The group’s organizer, bookstore manager Maggie Heatley, is dressed in what she describes as “Grizzly Gangnam Style.” Heatley wears a wig and white blazer similar to another internet sensation, Psy, along with a GGC t-shirt.

“It's a great thing to do to show school spirit, pull everyone together,” said Heatley. “We try to do things like this throughout the year for different holidays, but this was just nice to get everyone together and dance when it wasn’t a holiday.”
