• Multiple abused and deceased dogs located in Gwinnett County Home (ocgnews.com) — Gwinnett County authorities have arrested two women after seizing 25 malnourished dogs and discovering multiple deceased animals stored in refrigerators at a Snellville home. Following veterinary exams and necropsies, investigators obtained numerous felony and misdemeanor animal cruelty warrants, and the suspects were taken into custody after initially being sought by police.
   

• 13 people displaced by Tuesday apartment fire in Gwinnett (accesswdun.com) — Thirteen residents were displaced after a balcony cooking fire heavily damaged two units at the MAA Pleasant Hill Apartments near Duluth, according to Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services. Firefighters quickly contained the blaze, no injuries were reported, and the cause was ruled accidental. The affected adults and children are receiving help from the American Red Cross and the apartment management.
   

• End of Trump case caps dramatic year in Georgia courts (macon.com) — Several major Georgia court cases this year had key moments in Gwinnett County, including a record-setting Ford truck rollover verdict later overturned and a landmark toxic exposure trial now on appeal. The roundup also covers the collapse of Trump’s Fulton election case, pardons for Todd and Julie Chrisley, and a narrowed but revived hair relaxer lawsuit. These developments could shape future civil trials involving Gwinnett residents and businesses.
