Georgia Man Sentenced To 25 Years In Minor Sex Trafficking Case
A Gwinnett County man pleaded guilty to two trafficking charges in case of selling 14-year-old girl for sex, according to officials.
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A man was sentenced to 25 years in prison in Gwinnett County on Monday for trafficking a 14-year-old girl for sex, according to a news release from the Georgia Attorney General's Office.
Devonta Alexander Williams pleaded guilty to two counts of trafficking of persons for sexual servitude Friday in Gwinnett County Superior Court, according to the release.
Williams sold the girl for sex out of a Gwinnett County hotel room in May 2018, according to investigators. Authorities say Williams advertised the victim for sex on escort websites and kept the money from the transactions.
